Just to let you know Georgia with 24 points scored more then any other team has this year against Vanderbilt. They didnt cover by 4-4.5 points, so what? Last year they covered the whole second half of the season and bowl game.

Georgia is good to take when the spread is small, but you are playing with fire when you take a 14.5 point spread in a matchup of two top25 SEC teams.

You can't give points with them-that's for sure.

Getting points? Tempting

I don't. LSU is too good for UGA in the trenches. The UGA OL is banged up and they will be taking on one of the premier defensive lines in the nation. LSU rolls...

I've learned years ago. You simply can't bet the SEC on a consistent basis, like never. But if you are forced to bet on the SEC during conference, you must almost always take the points and they'll probably win outright.

I did make a mistake laying that many points. Which brings me to another question....why was that spread so high with two ranked teams? hats off to vanderbilt for keeping it somewhat "close" - getting 2 this week? better than laying 14.5, but i wont tuch it with a ten foot pole still. stafford throws weak fades for picks too. a lot to like about the bulldogs, EXCEPT when they are aying any points. great team for a tease leg now that i think about it.

If LSU is going to have any chance to win this game they will have to run it successfully which wont be easy versus the #3 rush defense in the country. LSU had alot of trouble with UF's DL, and Georgia's line is far more talented then Flordias. If Charles Scott/Keiland Williams cant run it successfully then play action goes out the window.

I am not sure LSU can stop Moreno and Stafford (throwing to AJ Green) either. Say what you will but Georgia is still leading the SEC in offense and LSU will have a hell of a time trying to stop the dual threat since the corners of LSU will give up some deep passes.

As long as Georgia follows Flordia's blueprint in their game versus LSU they win this one.

This is total nonsense obviously. Georgia's DL is not far more talented than Florida's. In fact, Florida may have the better DL.

Georgia and LSU have played one common opponent, which is South Carolina. Georgia did not dominate SC up front. In fact, South Carolina actually outgained UGA in that game 289-252. LSU whipped South Carolina at the line of scrimmage, especially in the 2nd half. LSU outgained the Gamecocks 363-254. It was a more dominating win than the final score indicated.

One of Georgia's top Dtackles, Brandon Wood, has been suspended for the game for DUI.

BWood was a backup that has played in every game. He will be easily replaced by Kade Weston (who was hurt last week and better in the first place)

uga gave up no yards until the 4th quarter against south carolina when they made 2 furious trips down field when our D was stuck on the field in 95 degree heat. We would run and punt and it screwed the D a bit.
