I stopped watching in 1992

They had Perot, Clinton and Bush on for back to back to back nights.

They let Perot and Clinton talk on and on about their plans, essentially giving their version of campaign talking points. Then on the third night when Bush was on, all King wanted to talk about was his knowledge of the Iran Contra Affair from some 10 years ago or so when Ronnie was POTUS

The finishing touch was when they went to taking telephone calls for questions, and on the line was Clinton's Campaign Manager, George Stephanopoulos, yes that George Stephanopoulos. Bush gave King a WTF? look. Larry King responded, "random call, honest"

I never watched Larry King or CNN since that night

I think the news in general will do nothing to make your day better. Made the mistake of putting world news on Sunday night between the Masters and the first 4 stories were, guy steals truck, runs over civilians, guy gets fired from gym, returns and shoots his former bosses then kill himself, a girl gets slammed to the ground by police, and some guy gets bounced from his seat on a plane the hard way while not resisting.
