I understand the love for Max Scherzer but to say he's far and away the most dominant SP is ludicrous

I'll take King Felix any day all day long.

Year after year, this guy puts up the numbers he does with one of the worst lineups in MLB trotting out on the field. He has to win so many games 1-0 or 2-1 it's unreal.

Hey, maybe Scherzer is the best right now but to say it's not even close is stupid.

Kind of funny, while Seattle has scored 5 more runs this year than the CWS, the CWS are actually hitting .238 compared to Seattle's .230.

By the end of it all, he had thrown seven innings and struck out 14, numbers that did not do justice to the way he dismantled the best lineup he has faced in weeks on its home field. Scherzer has now thrown five games with at least 14 strikeouts in which he allowed no earned runs. Only Nolan Ryan, Roger Clemens, and Pedro Martinez have thrown more.
