**Every baccarat table will have plenty of scorecards and pencils for the players to keep track of the outcome of every hand. Most players will do so religiously and carefully analyze their card for trends as the winning hand switches back and forth from the banker to player. This is a big waste of time! The smart player will bet on the banker every time and leave the scorecards

This is BS..I have played too long to know that trends do exist in this game and keeping track will make you $$$

Exactly, that's why the casinos so helpfully give you cards and pens to keep track. But why don't they do this to help you keep the count at blackjack?

Hey congrats Maxdemo. Just curious, are there any books you'd recommend for someone who wants to learn the game? Or did you just kind of pick it up/figure out strategy as you played more? This question goes for anyone out there who can help, cuz I'm looking to pick up the game so I can play something in Vegas other than BJ and Pai gow, haha. Thanks!

Yeah, there is a lot of skill involved in baccarat, infact most pro baccarat players practice for hours calling coin flips before they get to the table.

I have an account at a couple of books. Most will let you play for free, as a guest...or some kind of low bet like $1.00 or I have seen .25. You can also try at home.
But it gets addictive and can turn real quick on you. I have seen too many people...including myself... at a casino be playing for an hour or so and be up a couple of K's but never know to leave a table. Some choose BJ, or the fun of taking $$ in poker. I would rather play this game...over those. Cant stand poker...takes too long. And BJ only has one play...you against the dealer...and you cant see his cards. W/ Bacarrat you get to choose which side to play..and there are long runs and trends.

There is no mathematical way...never tried to say there was. But there are trends that occure...which players use the card to track....and can be hit on for $$$

Like any other casino game, if you play long enough the house edge will break you. But if you know when to walk away, you can make a tidy profit.

Remember you haven't won until you leave the table. Of course you can come back the next day LOL
