I threw some money on Tapia

Tapia is undefeated and is no slouch and with such a thin weight class, it's hard to say whether Torres is really as great as his impressive record indicates. I think Tapia is the better fighter on his feet and you have to like a guy that hasn't shown much of a weakness other than other strong punchers.

+320. There just isn't enough known because of the limited weight class that makes me think Torres deserves to be huge favorite over an undefeated fighter with good hands.

Tapia has KO power and better standup. As good as Torres is on the ground, Tapia has a ton of skills himself and can compete.

On the ground I think Torres is on the whole another level but stand up Tapia has a chance to catch him , I mean FK Faber got caught last event ...

Tapia landed some decent shots but was having trouble with the range and got caught but I still think at +320 it was a good bet considering how hard Tapia can hit. Oh well, on to another day.

could this mma fight have been a portent of things to come in the dlh/pacquaio fight?....

i was thinking this as i was watching the difficulty tapia was having with torres` reach....manny`s never seen a 4+inch height differential in his entire career...not to mention what the weight differential will be by fight time...

he won`t be in with david diaz come saturday night...

a mismatch in the making....and the odds keep dropping....

i`d like to personally thank all loyal filipino wagerers for being nationalistic...this,in and of itself,i find laudable.....love seeing proud nationalistic fans...it`s a good thing...speaks well of the filipino people and their national pride...

but,it also works in the favor of boxing handicappers that see this as a potential mismatch....
