Name calling. Good counter-argument.

Yes, Manafort was a criminal before he was the Trump Campaign Chairman. Did Trump bother to vet him before hiring him as his campaign manager?
Or did Manafort have an epiphany and cease his 10-year stretch of criminal behavior? Or perhaps the crimes Manafort was indicted for made him an ideal candidate for the job?

I wasn't there. I don't know. But I trust the law and I trust when people plead guilty in court. Innocent people don't plead guilty.

He is stupid, there is no disputing that fact.

I didn't say Manafort was innocent.

Did any of the Democrats who hired Manafort vet him before they hired him?

Actually, one of the indictments allege that Stone attempted to obtain hacked e-mails to damage Trump's political opponents and that Stone coordinated this act with Trump campaign officials.

I said Russia.

And, nothing you posted regarding the election is a crime.

Every count of the indictment is related to his testimony to the House on 9/26/17

It has nothing to do with Russia, nothing to do with the President and nothing to do with the 2016 campaign.

Flynn didn't lie according to the FBI agents that don't have an agenda.. People plead all the time when a rogue prosecutor is on the loose and family members are threatened.. GL with your fishing expedition.... again these are process crimes to justify the wasted millions spent on this BS.. fools like yourself buy in to it.. Clinton did lie..LOL Clinton did it under oath.. big difference Donger

According to Flynn's own words in court: He lied. Please show me evidence/facts that indicate otherwise.

I agree with you that Bill Clinton lied and lied under oath. That's why he was impeached.

My fishing trip isn't until the spring, but thanks anyway :) I'm no fool and I've got the documents to prove it.

More from the Stone indictment:

17.
On or about October 7, 2016, Organization 1 released the first set of emails stolen from the Clinton Campaign chairman. Shortly after Organization 1’s release, an associate of the highranking Trump Campaign official sent a text message to STONE that read “well done.” In subsequent conversations with senior Trump Campaign officials, STONE claimed credit for having correctly predicted the October 7, 2016 release.

If you want to see someone in real pain, check out Sarah Huckabee this morning flailing on CNN....has to be internally horrifying to be still in your 30s realizing that for literally the rest of your life you will be remembered by the entire world to have lied repeatedly for the the most notorious criminal in US history

Democrats hired Manafort? Source please? :think2: Again I don't subscribe to either party. I subscribe to the truth. If Democrats failed to vet a staffer or employee, then that's on them and whatever consequence comes of it is well deserved.

It has nothing to do with Russia, nothing to do with the President and nothing to do with the 2016 campaign.

Well, yes it does actually. Because when Trump said "Russia, if you're listenting... I hope you find the 30,000 Clinton emails..." well, Russia listened and hacked the DNC servers on the same day. The allegation is that Stone sought to obtain, and did obtain, those emails via Company-1 (Wikileaks?) and coordinated their release with the Trump campaign.

What do you mean '...and predicting something isn't a crime.' I'm not a lawyer, but pretty sure its a crime to take possession of stolen goods.

Stone hasn't been tried or convicted. The indictment means he must stand trial or plead guilty. You are correct, he is innocent until proven guilty.

I think there have been 7 or so guilty please thus far. When someone pleads guilty, they avoid a trial and skip straight to sentencing. The names I have mentioned earlier have all plead guilty and 2 have already been sentenced for their crimes.

They only plead guilty to crimes unrelated to "Russia! Russia! Russia!" in order to avoid financial ruin. Nobody, innocent or guilty, has the financial resources to withstand this illegal partisan unconstitutional witch hunt with virtually unlimited resources.

Cute narrative you've constructed there about "Russian collusion"...almost as cute as your claim you've never voted for a Democrat, Clinton...or whatever the hell you said. (Oops, better call "Bloodhound Bob" and charge with me with a lame process crime...I misspoke!)

This entire sham "investigation" exists for the sole purpose of sucking all the oxygen out of the room so the REAL criminals aren't targeted - destroying evidence, obstructing justice, illegal spying etc., as Trump promised he would do during a debate straight to Crooked Hillary's face.

Ha, another pre-dawn raid by Mueller's goon squad for a FUCKING "PROCESS CRIME" and Fake News CNN just happened to there. What a coincidence! :think1:

Even the judge thought the raid was excessive which is why Stone was released on a mere 250K bond.

Stone is not charged with any crime related to the 2016 campaign.

You need to stop now.

The indictment does not mention whether Mr. Stone or any other Trump associate knew about the Russian operatives’ plans before they hacked the Democrats

Manafort has been a lobbyist for 25 years in Washington DC.

You don't subscribe to either party, you just conveniently repeat Democratic party talking points.

It's just a crazy coincidence!

It doesn't really contribute to your credibility or believability when you are not even able to accurately recount the words I said a mere few posts ago.

I said: I NEVER VOTED FOR A CLINTON IN MY LIFE. But I have voted for Republican candidates in the past, as well as Democrats. Your point?

Again, point me to FACTS and CREDIBLE sources for your claims that those who plead guilty did so to avoid financial ruin. Because until you do, your claims are nothing but conjecture.

If you're going to keep posting memes in order to support your argument, then I find it highly ironic that you complain of "fake news". Because there is nothing substantive in those memes. It's just oooo trash.

Didn't someone teach you not believe everything posted to the internet?

No I don't have time to watch cable news. Occasionally I will catchup with Shephard Smith, George Stephanopoulos, and Ari Melber.

I actually believe that Trump will make america great again -- when Mueller exposes all the rotten, corrupt politicians that sold out our country for political gain. If things go down the way I think they will, I think we'll get our government back.

I don't spend my life trying to convince people of anything, but I will speak the truth (as I understand it anyway) to ignorance every day of the week.

What I find so strange with this president is that supporters explain away and defend his action no matter what. Like I said earlier, I voted for Obama -- but there is PLENTY that I would criticize him for. I don't understand how people can be so willfully blind to what's staring them right in the face.

I mean, if I had a friend that I was constantly defending and explaining their poor behavior to those would condemn them -- at some point wouldn't you stop and ask yourself "Hey, maybe this person kinda sucks?"

Here's another way to look at it. Let's assume for a minute that Trump's campaign didn't collude with Russia, that Trump as zero ties to Russia, and that Trump isn't compromised by Putin/Russia: What would it look like if he was compromised? Because from a global standpoint, you could argue that everything this administration has done benefits Russia.

And when the only world leaders that are applauding your presidency are Ergodan, Putin, Kim Jong Un -- uhm, those are the WRONG leaders to be praising a US president. For fucks sake Trump is on the records saying he wants to break up NATO!!

Hillary Clinton LIED and OBSTRUCTED JUSTICE destroying evidence, not because of a lame-ass 'tweet' but actual PHYSICAL EVIDENCE - FACT!

James Comey leaked classified information to the press AND obstructed justice - FACT! Also, he LIED Trump wasn't under his investigation.

Obama and his corrupt FBI illegally spied opposition campaigns, then when Trump started gaining political momentum created this phony Russia! Russia! Russia! narrative to cover it up - FACT!

Robert Mueller is the "insurance policy" which began with the phony Comey "Russia investigation" designed to clean up the mess left by the REAL criminals - FACT! Just like this buddy Comey, Mueller has since destroyed evidence and obstructed justice.

Robert Mueller is a deep state clown extraordinaire. Just like his buddy Comey, his clown "investigation" is coordinating with the Fake News media to create this illusion of wrongdoing where none exists. (Once again, Fake News CNN just happened to be there to witness the Robert Stone pre-dawn raid.)

All of these clowns deserve to be relentlessly exposed and mocked with memes and other tools, because in a sane world they would all be in jail!

Point taken. Manafort has been a long-time political lobbyist. I asked for a source that Manafort was hired by Democrats, and I don't see that in your link.

I don't subscribe to either party, like I said, I have voted for D's and R's plenty of times in my life.

I never said the indictment proves that Stone or Trump knew Russia's plans before they hacked Democrats -- but the indictment does ALLEGE that Stone sought to obtain CRIMINALLY ACQUIRED material and the coordinate the release of that material with the Trump Campaign and Organization-1 (Wikileaks).

I remember reading somewhere that when Al Gore ran against GW Bush, someone tried to send his campaign illegally-obtained election material -- his campaign notified and submitted the material to the FBI.
