As far as I'm concerned if you are pro Sharia and feel American courts are invalid then you are an extremist.

Poll of U.S. Muslims Reveals Support for Supremacy of Shariah Courts (Center for Security Policy)
According to a new survey of 600 Muslims living in the U.S., 51% agreed that "Muslims in America should have the choice of being governed according to shariah [Islamic law]."
Only 39% said that Muslims in the U.S. should be subject to American courts, while an earlier national survey of the general population found by a margin of 92%-2% that Muslims should be subject to the same courts as other citizens.
24% of the Muslims polled believed: "It is legitimate to use violence to punish those who give offense to Islam by, for example, portraying the prophet Mohammed."
19% of Muslims said that the use of violence is justified in order to make shariah the law of the land in the U.S.

Islam should honestly be banned in America. I know the majority of the believers are decent people and not extremists but it is an extremist religion and very dangerous to have lingering in the United States. I was banned for life but Obama gave me a pardon. But yea, I'm all for equal rights unless those rights put others at risk. I think Islam is a very dangerous religion and its followers care not one bit about the United States. Just my opinion though.

And let me clarify, when I say ban I just mean not recognized by the US Government as an acceptable religion. Just like the confederate flag, of course people can practice whatever they want in their private lives. But it should be established by the government it is a dangerous and extremist religion and will not be recognized by the government for any religious purposes.

If you think Islam is a threat to the US now I would love to see your plan to 'illegalize' it, step-by-step. If your plan was let's say 5 stages, stage 1 would cause riots beyond belief. And it wouldn't be the people we should be fearing like the Boston Bomber types who would be creating the uproar, but every else. What are you going to do throw a chain around every mosque?

Step 1) I would have the government label it as an extremist organization. Just like other extremist organizations in America, they are still allowed to exist.
Step 2) I would stop any benefits that are given to Islamic churches or institution
Step 3) I would prevent anyone who practices Islam from holding any public position at any level of government
Step 4) I would add it to the curriculum of public schools that it is to be seen as a dangerous religion and they are extremists
Step 5) Prepare for retaliation. Sometimes in life, violence is going to happen. Better have it now when it's isolated and small before it grows to be a serious threat

It's more about a nation and protecting the country's freedoms for future generations. I think people who follow Islam would have absolutely no care in the world if the United States was conquered by fellow Muslims. It's just much safer for them to practice their religion here and in Europe than in the Middle East.

So I do not take labeling it an extremist organization as doing the EXACT same thing as Islam, where they chop peoples heads off for not believing what they believe. That's an over exaggeration.

Nah, it's not just a "religion", it's an entire system of governance in which they live by. And I honestly do not care how many people practice it. That just makes it more apparent that we should take the threat seriously. And this is entirely based on the written language of their religion. Obviously the majority of Muslims are good people and all the Muslims fighting for our country in the military are definitely ones to be admired. But the religion in itself is dangerous. It's not something that should be protected by the Government. If people want to practice it, they should be labeled an extremist. That does not mean there is any threat of danger to those who practice it, it just gives the government the ability to protect Americans from them and monitor their behavior. Just like they do with the KKK.
