I think you will see at least one new team in the big game. I think you see the colts win it all next year. The colts and the cowboys. The falcons are done. Same thing happened to Seattle two years ago. When you lose that kind of game, you don't get over it.

If Gronk is healthy then you gotta like them as the favs going into next yr.

You never know though. 32 teams and all have pretty much the same financial resources. If someone told you in 1995 that the Cowboys and 49ers were only going to make a combined 1 SB over the next 21 years you would've been surprised. And that game was headed towards 9ers gettting killed before the power went out.

Patriots are like the Spurs. Brady is like Tim Duncan. Hard to replace, but even without the main man they are still such a great TEAM

Falcons are not done. They are still a top tier team

I agree with the guy above.....Falcons could throw in a clunker next season.

Probably catch a beating in there very 1st game.

Actually you know what has a good chance to happen? The Falcons opening the season @ New England.

They play @ NE next year and make the most sense of the 8 teams that will play there. Only other one I can see opening the year vs NE is Carolina. Or maybe Houston if they trade for a QB (Jimmy G?)

But I think ATL @ NE is the fav for that opening Thurs game. Funny how that works.

Billicheck has shown he's won with a backup's backup, won with trading the best defensive player away..why doubt them when the man is still in charge

I heard they have all 1st place teams on the schedule.

I don`t know how true that is.

You play the 3 1st place teams in your conference (Houston, KC, Pitt) but Pitt is on the road. Then you play 1 division from opposite conference (NFC South)

Miami
NYJ
Buffalo
Houston
Carolina
KC
LA Chargers
Atlanta are their home games for next season

So I think strong chance ATL is the opener unless Houston trades for Jimmy. That would be something.

As great as Brady is when he retires in 2 or 3 years the team will still be a super bowl contender with Brissett as long as Belichick is still there.

One thing the Pats have going for them is that year after year they have had a relatively easy road to the playoffs, because their division sucks. They will be heavy favorites to win the division again next year.

LOL, what?

Which AFC team is going to Foxboro and winning a playoff game there next year?

The Falcons are going to lose Freeman in free agency (I think). I don't see how they recover from this loss.
