I think Temple is a good play this week

I think I like this Temple play. Penn St. has a huge game next week at home against Illinois. I think College Gameday will be in Happy Valley next week because of Illinois coming to town. It is going to be the 8:00 game on ABC. I think this will be the biggest home game all season for the Nittany Lions.

Temple is a heavy look ahead spot. PSU is winning their games by an Average of of 43 points, yet the line is only 28.5/29, which seems fishy. Temple has had trouble running the ball this year only avg. 3.6 a carry, while PSU is only giving up 2.2 yards a carry. That scares me a little bit, but overall I like this in the spot for Temple to cover.

Another thing to look at is Temple is located in PA and is close to Happy Valley. Penn State and Temple recruit in the same areas. A lot of the kids that Penn State did not recruit and passed over have gone to Temple to play football. Trust me, these kids would much rather be playing for PSU than Temple and will play with a chip on their shoulder.

I love Temple as well. They returned 10/11 starters from an all MAC defense. They are not great, but they are vastly underrated IMO. Getting 29 is a gift it looks like. We shall see though.

I am a very proud Penn State student but I agree that Temple is the play here. I'll be at the game rooting for my Lions but 28.5 is a gift here.

penn state players are not thinking ahead about illinois. they are thinking about winning me football money by blowing out temple 56-7. What makes you think this temple team is gonna have any succes doing anything against the lions?

With a line this high, the backdoor scares me. PSU will be up by 42 at some point in this game, but if the starters come out in the 3rd qt I could see a backdoor cover.

I got PSU -29.5. even though they are up 31-0 at the half, there's still alot of time left in this game. just praying a backdoor won't screw me.
