I think Spurrier was completely disorganized or maybe he thought his guys would play better if they were only 7 behind . It was a stupid decision but he decided to go for it then.
After the touchdown and the conversion, I think he made another bad decision by not going for the onside kick . If Dallas makes a first down it’s over, so why not take a shot.

I have to defend him here. When he played the Eagles, rather than going for the 2 pointer he kicked the extra point making it an 8 point spread. Then when he scored again he went for 2 and they missed it and that really took the air out of that team. They haven't won since. I support his going for 2 early this time.
