Watched every episode except for last nights. This show just hasn't reeled me in. It seems like it is trying to hard to be something that it is not. Plus the actors and characters they play aren't very engaging. Since it is going on hiatus for 3 months and possibly getting canceled due to heavily declining ratings I just might give up on the show completely.
I believe it got picked up for another season, however I see what you're saying. It does have potential though.
Agree Boardwalk Empire is great and better, another new show that is better than "The Event" is "The Walking Dead"
NBC ordered a full 22 episode season early in the season but that was more to appease to the fans who might jump ship thinking the show had no chance of survival due to the declining ratings. Now it seems after the 3 month Hiatus the show is being rebooted and relaunched which is never a good sign on a 1st year show. I think the show is pretty much dead. NBC will not give the show a season or two to gather more viewers like they did for Heroes. Heroes got more rope because the first season grabbed so much ratings and buzz and NBC wanted to save the show even it meant firing and hiring writers searching for that 1st season magic.

yea they are trying to get all "Lost" on us with this shit...imo the wife is meant to look like one of the sleepers.. but it will come to light somehow that someone else is.. i like the story line though of the rouge fbi agent (who now wants to turn back and help gov) might become one of our greatest assets to fight these goons. lol
