Obviously i went 0-5 today ( had saints, panthers and pitts..) Seems like i win 2 bets but lose 4 the next day and the merry go round keeps on going.
Cant even enjoy the wins anymore and sick of losing. I do this recreationally, practice money mangement but losing money all the same. Makes me question does anybody really make money from this?

Play few games a week. Don't try to handicap every games. lines are sharp, especially in a sport like NFL. Playing 5 NFL games in a week on game day is pretty much sure way to lose money long term. By game day these lines are razor sharp. Situational handicapping is the best and learn to take a day off instead of forcing plays. Just because its Sunday or Saturday doesn't mean you have to make a play. Degenerates who play force play everydays will end up losing long term even if they go on some winning streaks.

People who make money from this pick their spots when they bet and they avoid betting if they don't have to. Most in the forum don't understand any of this....

To answer your question there are people who make good money from sports betting. My main earning the last 4 years or so is from sports betting and the rental income from the condos that i bought from winnings. I know atleast 4 others posters in this forum who make more money from sports betting than they well paid day job.

Problem is, you're betting on your team, but officiating, bad calls, phantom penalties often decide outcomes of games. The NFL is impossible to 'cap'. Too many variables are involved. People that think they can 'cap' these games are living in a fantasy. It's all luck in the end...make a pick and pray, lol. Jmo.

are you play local or online? if online, start betting with teaser and play max 2-3 team a week max. A lot of people making money, also a lot losing money. If you bet local, sit there half an hour before game time, you will find out which team you should bet. Online you can just blindly follow EGK needs. Or pm me, I will give you a try for 3 weeks, you will see your balance going up. It is free. If it lose, I lose the same bet as yours. Ha ha, but I am not. Follow me and you will see how tight when I make a play and I am very conservative, not really a type of player bet a lot of games a week. College, 4-5 games at best and second half....then NFL 3-4 games and parlay, teaser mixing them up.
