He just continues to pull out one run wins out of his ass. Luckily I'm just record keeping. I would think he's due for some bad luck in the immediate future. I'm thinking of hopping back on the fade train.
Mr A's Record (to win $100 a game), 130-110, -$2,490
Faders (betting $100 a game), 110-130, +$1,095
Just curious: Mr. A went 1-1 last night (Royals lost, but the Twins won). Shouldn't the record be 131-111/111-131? (For a profit of $80 for faders yesterday )
Don't know what I was doing yesterday. You are correct. The money figures are correct now. I for some reason took a win and a loss off the record. I have corrected.
He naturally went 2-0 yesterday including close victories. We are now under a grand. We all keep thinking it will turn. I would think it would considering how chalky and Joe Public his picks are. But he keeps hammering away. I have to say I'm shocked he's 22 games over .500. I expected him to hang around .500 all season.
Mr A's Record (to win $100 a game), 133-111, -$2,380
Faders (betting $100 a game), 111-133, +$975
This thread did not go as I had hoped. I will admit that and I apologize for that if somebody is unhappy (not sure if anybody is).
I had tracked him from afar for approximately 3 years in all sports but never had an exact record like this over the course of a season. I respect a handicapper by their record and how they approach games. I don't like this guy's thought process in how he picks games. He seems to fall for traps and is extremely Joe Public. Now let's not get into a Joe Public conversation. I know those plays win. Given he's down $2,400 dollars at $100 we can agree he's not good and never worth tailing.
If you faded every single pick of his you'd be up about 10 units at this point. I'll admit I haven't faded every one and I'd say nobody in the world has faded every one of his picks. I've probably faded the most (about 80% I'd guess).
Since all you do here is blindly fade and don't waste any time capping you are still up for the 2011 MLB season. Given some of the struggles of good and bad cappers alike in this forum I don't see a majority of people that are over 10 units flat betting 2 games a day.
I'm going to do my best to keep the record keeping up to date. If I had to predict I say he ends this season down over $3,000 and at some point the faders have a resurgence.
Been out for a bit as I took some time off - had 1 real shitty week on my own. As we get towards the end of the year the prices on these dogs are going to go up pretty high for us - I think we end up around +15 units or so as the year finishes, but that's my guy more than anything else. I can't complain as I'm up and hit a few parlays when he did go 0-2 for more than I should as I was up on my own then and playing with the books money. Lets see how we finish out. I'm also surprise he's that many games over 500 as I figured at best he would go .500.
