Have had a huge day today (lost first 2 Sunday's).

Not trying to sound like an smart ass but I never have understood these type threads about the NFL. Honestly not sure what most mean by saying how hard it is too beat the NFL. Shouldn't it be as hard as any other sport? They post numbers that are right down the middle and is 50/50 so I guess I dont understand why some say this is harder than any other sport.

Nothing should be obvious when you are betting as the pointspreads evens everything out. I mean for every side that you are losing on are they a complete obvious side even with the spread attached?

Once again I am not at all trying to be a smart ass as I dont see it this way at all. One thing I think most people do with the NFL is since the games are talked about for a week everyone puts way too much stock into the last week results and overbets the so called team that is playing well when in reality the value is on the side that may not be as bad as they looked at least from a value standpoint.

Just trying to help. A couple of guys hit on some key points in this thread. Like taking the opposite. Not saying that is sound handicapping but what he is saying is what I am saying, as that is were the value lies. Prime example of that is Philadelphia Eagles a perininal playoff team -5 against one of the worst franchises in sports and that numbers was based on what EVERYONE seen on MNF last week creating extreme value on Philly. There are spots like this all the the time in the NFL but I think the public interpets them completley wrong. Also the value of the 3 means everything, try to make your bets around it (-2.5 when lines is 3 or +3.5 when consenus is 3), if you can find bets like this pull the trigger blind with no capping involved around key numbers, as those numbers will come into play all the time.

Hope I can help as the NFL to me has always been the easiest sport to beat. Good luck.

You'd think you'd know better slim. Just start betting the other way. You know what side the square money is coming on which side.

and I have won 2/3 of the Sundays for the past 5 years and this Sunday's wins covered the other 2's losses. I know you are just messing with me:103631605 .

The thing is CFB is where I struggle but line shoppers aren't as rewarded in that sport.

Like I said not at all trying to sound like a know it all. Just something I have done to beat the NFL.

Im sure this is the same for so many...piece of shit NFL. I dont even know why I try betting it....its just throwing money away..

All the money I had won betting soccer games n shit like that, down the drain with a few NFL plays.......

Can't believe it....

I couldnt agree with you more, I profit on college from thurs to sat, and drop a load of it on the NFL only to make nothing. Been like this for two weeks now, win on sat and lose on sun. The old saying "On any given Sunday" is what it is, and the impossible is probable! Too many examples today so I'm not going list them all, but cmon tampa dominating the rams or eagles scoring 56 out of the blues, now thats insane.

i had georgia 2nd half last night because of bs officiating. The seahawks decide to have a safety and i lose it by another half point. You just can't cap this crap.

I should just let you keep typing, your only making yourself look like more of an idiot on the internet. so, is this what it is about, that you dont believe I didn't bet on my team? I didn't.

You seem to have some issues. Move on tool. You take things out of context and apparently at least for one day you can't let them go.

and the whole donkey name calling thing is so overused and annoying these days. I'd wish you good luck, but I'd actually like to see you keep losing to good folks like steak.

hola
