Defensive lapses have been caused by the offenses inability to move the ball. Bad field position = bad defensive stats. Once the offense gets in gear with all those weapons, the Pats will score and the defense will be in a much better position.

Have not seen a bold titled prediction from Iceman since he proclaimed that the Detroit Tigers would go on a roll, dominate the AL and win the division. This was last year at like the All star break 2007. The Tigers have been horrendous ever since.

New prediction: The Patriots are going to fall apart starting today 10/12/2008.

Not saying they will win the WS as that can be a little of a crap shoot but overall I think they end up with the best record in bases.

Trying not to be a homer but with all their pitchers coming back and one of the best offenses in baseball they are set to go on a tear.

I have done yards per play stats for years and team generally play right around this number and the Pats are bad this year on both sides of the ball. Not sure how things change so much in a year but they will be lucky to avoid less than a double digit loss season (IMO).

lost best player on each side of the ball, plus defense as a whole is a year older... i'm enjoying this.
