This was not Geno's worst game but he is still below average for NFL qb... that last pass he threw ball too deep and out of bounds, had nothing to do with rcvr as gruden made it sound like. But Gruden sucks and so did head ref Bogus or Bogarts whatever. He stinks and every game I see him do it is bad officiating. THe NFL needs to have him do the Raiders/Rams type games.
People don't give Cutler enough credit. The 2 years that Marshall didn't have him as QB were the worst of his career. Cutler hooked up Eddie Royal with a career year before leaving Denver. Guy has never had a great offensive line. Marshall and him work together very well. Good for each other.
The last 4 games of last season gave us fans a little glimmer of hope. He is once again a turnover machine who looks lost. I realize his receivers haven't been helping but some of his on field decision making is horrendous. Time for the experiment to end. The more I listen to the moronic coach in the post game press conferences it might be time for him to go also. Keep supporting a qb who is pushing you closer out the door each game and you will be somebody's defensive coordinator next year Rex.
I went to my first jets game today...reactions:
1) crowd was weak....half the stadium was gone with a ton of time left....when they made a run at the end there was no energy left in the crowd....my wife was yelling louder than most of the jets fans just b/c she was there (and knew I bet on them)....she doesn't even like them...roots for the texans
2) geno looked bad, his receivers didn't do him any favors....it was like they wanted to make him look even worse than he was....
3) how do you not go for it on 4th and 2 at the end of the game? if you cant get 2 yards, what are the chances you are going to be able to drive the ball down the field if you get a three and out (which they didn't) with almost no time left...Rex seems like he isn't very sharp
4) what's up with no beers after half time? I thought it was universal that you got thru the 3rd Q but clearly not the case....got burned on that one
