North Texas has been pretty solid all year and playing well as of late. Before losing at Ark Little Rock last week they had won 4 in a row and average over 76 points a game.
Ark State comes in losing 7 in a row, really with nothing left to play for this year. They only average 66 points a game and while North Texas doesn't exactly have a shut em down type defense, I don't see how they can keep up, especially while they are playing.
There's much more to this game but I'm not about to write a book.
North Texas is +2 and yes they are on the road but I'm playing the ML and the points heavy. Last time they played it took North Texas 3 OT's to win but these are 2 teams playing much differently since then.
Both teams coming off a loss but I think North Texas is ready to bounce back, the loss for Ark State was just 1 of 7 in a row.
You have to pick your spots on playing road teams but this seems like as good of a spot as any. I could see North Texas winning by 10 or so, thus I'm taking them.
