I pulled a HOMER!!!! (to succeed despite idiocy!!!)

wow, I was browsing the lines earlier today when I came accross the layayette / monroe game.

I noticed one of my outs had MONROE -2 & another out had LAFAYETTE + 4!!!

I quickly did what any sane man would do.... I layed enough to win 1500$ on each side at each book.....

When the half was almost over I noticed I HAD MADE A HUGE MISTAKE.... MONROE had not been -2 at all.... I HAD BET 1500$ on Monroe to win the first half -2!!!!!!

MONROE KICKED A FIELD GOAL IN THE LAST MINUTE OF THE FIRST HALF TO COVER THE -2 & WIN THE FIRST HALF BY 3!!!!

had no time to hedge so I had to sweat out the second, which ended in a 3-3 tie....

THUS LAYAYETTE covered the + 4 as the final score was Monroe 13-10.

***The hilarious thing is that if in fact these lines had been available I also would have hit the middle, but the middle never actuall existed!!! yet I won both despite my error..... WOW****
