Just because you don't agree with him doesn't make him a kook or wrong. He just has a different view on things. Do I believe that 9/11 was an inside job, no. Maybe I won't allow myself to believe that. Maybe it is wrong for me to totally give our govt. a pass on them having anything to do with 9/11. As for donations from kooks, just because someone believes something that you don't or that you believe is crazy doesn't make them a kook. I can say you are a kook for supporting GWB and some of his policies.
