Anyhow, gambling for a living, my personal experience. Gambling should be for recreational purposes, it should be fun, and when it is about having fun I can and do win.
In the 80's and early 90's, in my youth and when I was a tad bit more naive, I thought I could supplement my income through gambling. I actually thought it would help me pay bills, enable me to buy stuff, take fancy vacations. none of that ever worked out very well. When I lost, I thought no problem, I'll just get it back, then I lost some more. Something happens when you have to win, something changes, you tend to make stupid mistakes. You bet more, you chase more, you start chasing your own tail. Even guys around here who have had some amazing runs, then they go tout, then they suck. I imagine just about every guy who went tout did so after a nice run, but now they're trying to make money selling picks as opposed to playing picks. We all know how bad touts can be too.
Gamble for fun, don't plan on making it some sort of profitable career, don't think it's going to supplement your income. When you win something nice, enjoy it but don't think that's the new norm. When you lose, don't lose so much you can't sleep at night or you can't pay your bills. Never chase, and listen to Kenny Rogers
Be smart with the 100k, invest it wisely, no cars or fleeting luxuries. work for that shit

I never said about taking the whole 100,000. I want to take 15,000 and see what I can do with 13 point teasers. I might take the rest of the money and buy into ANYTIME FITNESS. Only gyms opened 24 hours. I have belonged to one for 5 years. I am close to the one of the owners. He has 5 gyms with 7000 members. At 35.00 a month that's 2.9 million a year. After all his bills are paid he makes 250,000 a year. We will track every weeks plays. I just want to see how this works. It would be nice to make 7,000 to 10,000 cash every football season.
Invest most, and then just take a small amount to have some recreational wagering fun with, thats my advice for you. Have fun, enjoy the games, but never wager as a source of income... Yes you can make money gambling, but it never is a sure thing, and dont wager anything you cant afford to lose.

I have an Idea that might get you the very best possible Input each week, on Picks to use.
Idea that would also enable you to Help People. Which, if you do that you know: is said to make Good Stuff come to you
which if true maybe doing this idea would get you good Karma on Cashing, at Delaware Park.
My reason for suggesting this is not that "New Aged" existential groove so much as how doing this would see you get EXCELLENT INPUT (WriteUps on why guys are on a particular Side, of a week) so you're investment in this would = Immense Value, for you and possibly a Best & Greatest Path to the 5 Picks you submit each week being The Sharpest Plays available, that week.
Roger Goodell is a Marketing Guy, he came up thru NFL Marketing Dept. was given The Helm specifically cuz NFL Powers That Be felt that a Marketing Guy woul;d be most "+EV" to lead The League to the most prosperity, biggest viewership.

Each week there ARE going to be at least 5 games that end very closey, Rog has hammered in to the heads of his Officials (Game Refs) that they will make this happen of he will banish them to Refereeing in Siberia (Lingerie Football).
Theres been a few refs who wouldn't mind being transferred to Lingerie Football, understandably but.....the $$$$$ is very very much less so....
Roger's NFL, Initial Lines + Early Action (Line Movement), Later Line Movement, "Pinny Lean" if such still exists...input from Newsletters, Inside Info on team's from Locals and so may other things contribute to guys deciding what plays to use.
How could a way get made that would encourage guys to hit your thread each week with their very best plays?

In Essence, and Boiled Down you'd be allowing "The Tower" (Team Name) to Build Itself. Contributions, over the season, would dictate who was on the team.....at Season's End. Which would only matter if Cash Zone Residency gets accomplished.....at Season's End.
Good Problem to have. Yeah..."Cash Zone" would equal, inevitably, some degree of "Shit Storm", as Final Roster of Team (Payout) was decided but Thats Internet. Good Problem to have and I do know that you, as The Decider, would be Fair and consider Al Input.
As Financier of The Team you'd get whatever Infinitely LARGER % of The Payout that you decided upon, Naturally.
You wanna really make this interesting and have a really great Maximum Possible Excitement & Participation Thread (that would include your Final Plays each Friday, as you said) and accomplish getting you GREAT input....
Take a mere 10% of the 17K you're gonna use and devote that to establishing The Tower: An RX Entry to LVH/Westgate SuperContest on which all RX Posters are eligible to be a part of. By Posting Picks + WriteUp of what they feel should be On The Ticket, each week.
YOU use that input to ferret out YOUR 5 Best Teaser Plays, to qualify to go on Your Ticket.
You do this and it might very well prove to be "Your Ticket", to maximum intelligent most well thought thru 5 plays for Your Ticket and could prove to be Your Ticket to a very exciting active thread that, if The Team Entry ended up among The Top 50 ("Cash Zone") in The SuperContest, would prove to be Your Ticket....to helping others.
You'd be Master of Ceremonies of what could prove to be among the most interesting and exciting Threads in RX History.
Mostly though: The Investment would = you getting the very best & sharpest input on what plays to make, for your Delaware Pk. Gig.
