Was in Carnarvon, Ontario visiting some friends at their cottage on Kashagawigamog Lake. Went into the corner store and saw Dave Anderchuk. I said hey Mr. Anderchuk. He said call me Dave. So I shook his hand and told him I'm a huge Leaf fan and how great his 53 goals were in 1993 We talked about how close the Leafs came to the Cup finals in' 92 & '93.

You mean 93 & 94. If this current team has one iota of the grit and heart that team had, they would have a couple of cups by now. Those were two of the best seasons ever, by a single player! Killer was unstoppable at both ends of the ice with little raw talent around him!! Anderchuk could only get 40 goals twice before Gilmour, playing with the likes of Lafontaine, Hawerchuk, Mogilny and Turgeon. Scored 107 goals in two seasons with Gilmour!! (54 goals was split between Buf and TO) Vastly underrated Killer!!

Heck of a player and tough guy to move when he planted himself in front of the net. Cool Meet Up.
