all were the opposite side of the side being bet heavy (when I made the bets I did not even know which side was being bet it just happened that way) and I will end up going 2-4 if I'm lucky. The morale of the story, bet with the public and you will win. Next time I will check and see who everyone is on before I make the bet.

Bet with the public ? Trust me.. you'll end up 0-6 next time if you stick to that idea.

At least you only made 6 plays.
Over at the other place, bigbookie has made 50 or more plays in college today, including halftimes. Can't see how that is a realistic money maker long term.

Agreed. Six is a lot for me. I usually make 4 or so on a college football saturday and 1-2 for the NFL. Should have stuck with a smaller number today.

My picks were around 90% over the past two weeks (didn't play them all) however, this week I lost half my bank account. I'm looking at 10-5 today with VT, SC, and Arizona pending (and they don't look so good either)... TERRIBLE WEEK FOR ME!!!!

were the games high profile games? If not the public's money doesn't really matter. Bet the high profile games and over the long haul you will win.

Pretty much the higher profile games except one of them. Thanks for your words those, they are well-taken. Just frustrated with the events of the day.

Sorry to hear that. It looks like it has been a rough day for a lot of the good cappers. Maybe Arizona will end up doing better than we think. Who knows I am not counting on them though.

it was said tongue and cheek. I know about the public and all that but the public plays do seem to do pretty well, or at least better than in the past. Look at all the big public favorites that covered today.

when you are getting bets every game is played-by the way those halftimes were 25-17 and 5-1 on the big plays
