Two meanings in Bristol's name: I worked at the Bristol Inn, and Todd grew up in Bristol Bay. But also, Bristol, Connecticut, is the home of ESPN. And when I was in high school, my desire was to be a sportscaster. ESPN was just kicking off, just getting off the ground, and I thought that's what I was going to do in life, is be one of the first woman sportscasters. Until I learned that you'd have to move to Bristol, Connecticut. It was far away. So instead, I had a daughter and named her Bristol....​

Bristol Mayor Art Ward tells the local paper that it's probably for the best that Palin stayed in Alaska.
"You can't see Russia from here," he said.

This is yet another example of willie99's logical incoherence: he says I'm full of "psycho babble bullshit" and that I'm "deep into lala land" yet he can't seem to stay away from me for longer than a few minutes. I surely love attention but does that strike anyone else as odd?

I know from watching these boards that anyone with whom willie99 doesn't agree is full of "bullshit" or is a "whacko" or a "kook" but why would someone go out of his way to make a personal attack on someone whom he declares his inferior? It just doesn't add up, I tell ya! I'm going to go with fear. It's difficult for many on the right to confront the fact that they cleave to a discredited ideology that has been soundly rejected by the majority of this country much as it was rejected by the majority of the world some time ago. I think we're hearing that last bleats of a slaughtered sheep.

You said Dianne Feinstein is a "fricken' communist." Even the farthest reaches of hyperbole do not justify calling Dianne Feinstein a communist. Thus, either you don't know what communism is or you don't Feinstein's political positions yet felt justified in attacking her. To suggest that I would have to offer "underlying support for [my] position" that she is not a commuist re-confirms my initial diagnosis.
