As previously stated, 1 doesn't exist.
There wouldn't be much difference in betting a -1 RL vs a Money line; Only get push instead of win, there would be almost no difference in the juice and really seems to be a bad bet for you. The -1.5 line is a great line because there is a big difference in juice since there are so many 1 run games...
For Example you said Milwaukee. They are 26-15 in 1 run games (you can get that stat off MLB Standings by clicking the little blue arrows in top right that say split standings)... That means 33% of MIL games are 1 run games which is why you get a 100 pioint difference in betting thier ML at -165 and their RL at +135...
Betting the RL is a completely different bet IMO. I use it occasionally but don't fall in love with it... Milwaukee is +16 units on the year betting the moneyline, yet they are -16 units on the year betting the RL... thats a 32 unit swing... massive difference...
best of luck
thats not always true. -1 is completely different then betting -1.5, because all your team has to do is win to get your money back. and there is a big difference between -1 lines and normal moneylines. i looked at a couple of the for today and a decent fave (-140 to -170) is about 40 cents cheaper on the alternate line, and a team like the phillies are almost 70 cents cheaper, which is a huge difference
