Buy some bling for your wife. So when you have that inevtiable bad streak you have another reason to get pissed off at your wife every time you look at her!

JMan-

If he is semi-sharp/sharp tell him to buy something that helps him indirectly with his hobby. In other words, a new book on wagering, a more reliable PC/laptop (if he has an old one), a vacation to help him relax and think about his strategy for continuing to win, etc.

If he is playing larger than normal and has debt, I would also advise him to take 5-8k out, pay down his debt/save and bet normally.

Take $5k out and pay down part of his mortgage or make a contribution to his IRA or whatever your pension plan is called down there. No sense in giving a chunk of it back.

Tell him to stay away from football because more than likely that 9600 will turn into the original 300 pretty quickly.

Best advice would be wto withdraw all but the original 300 and start over. If he "loses" then he is still way ahead.
