The Warrior Diet. You fast for 23.5 hours between meals, eat a nice size dinner and I have been walking about three miles a day with weight training every other day. I feel fantastic. Started at 237 down to 220. The six small meal a day theory is bullshit. I don't even miss eating all day anymore and I can eat pretty much whatever I want for dinner.

Good for you--but see how long it lasts. Please don't tell me that you xan go the rest of your life eating 1 time a day--what about Bills season and at parties. Learn to eat Healthy foods and smaller portions of what is bad for you. I lost 110 pounds and have kept it off for 4 years now

You are absolutely right and I am only doing this for 1 month just for a little jump start. Weekends I eat pretty much whatever but I do lower the portions. Exercise is the key and I hope to be up to 4 miles a day on the treadmill in a few weeks. What did you do to lose all that weight? And congratulations that is awesome whale!!

Can you drink anything you want the rest of the day?

Water, juices, coffee, milkshakes?

Yes it's not a very strict diet. You eat all your food intake in one sitting. Do a google search on Warrior diet, he has a website. I just came across it and gave it a try and it worked great so far. Will I continue to lose weight? Who knows I could be back to being a fat pig very soon.

Not to be the party pooper, but eating one meal a day is horrendous for you.

In the long term, you arent getting nearly the amount of vitamins and minerals that your body needs on a day to day basis.

Your body essentially thinks it is starving itself as well.

Moderation and exercise is the best way to go.

Cheers.

That's what "they all say". Like I said this is just a jump start for me to keep me going. I will hopefully be able to adjust my life style to include most everything you mentioned above.

Best of Luck to you Harrington. I hope that things work out for you man.

I got myself back in shape over the past 4 months and dropped 30 lbs. with moderate diet and exercising.

Let us know how you hold up.

Once you stop this diet you will gain it back. If the purpose was fast temporary weight loss, then it was a great plan. If the purpose is long-term loss then it is counterproductive.

its very dangerous for your heart with that sort of weight loss.if you lose more than a few pounds a week, you are losing muscle.this is a really dangerous weigh to lose weight, especially if someone is older or overweight.

exercise and a good diet is much safer and the goal should be 1-2 pounds a week
