How did the "President" ( D.J. Trump ) have anything to do with gas prices in your area?

- The overriding factor that determines the price of oil from day to day is the market principle of supply and demand.
- no president, can do much of anything to affect the short-term price of oil, and therefore gasoline.
- Retail gasoline prices tend to be higher the farther it is sold from the source of supply: ports, refineries, and pipeline and blending terminals.

Oil production in the united states has been rising steadily for at least the last ten years. Some would even say production has been soaring the last ten years. The president whoever that may be has very little to do with the price of oil.
