read somewhere that a guy went to the roulette wheel on bodog the other day and put 1 dollar on every number except for 1 number and that one number on the whole board that he did not cover hit 6 or 7 times out of 10 tries.

If that is not ultimate proof that its rigged I dont know what to tell you

I dont feel like testing it because I dont have any money over there and dont feel like spending over $300 for a test, but if any of you feel like blowing some money to see if this is true I would be interested

whats the smallest bet you can make at bodog on the wheel? I would be willing to try this if you can bet 10cents a number, but the guy that tried seemed to say $1 was the min

Roulette

read somewhere that a guy went to the roulette wheel on bodog the other day and put 1 dollar on every number except for 1 number and that one number on the whole board that he did not cover hit 6 or 7 times out of 10 tries.

Makes zero sense for anyone running a rouelette game to cheat in anyway because they have an automatic 5.26% win percentage (double zero wheel). All you have to do is use a fair and legitimate wheel and the house makes a little over $5 out of every $100 wagered.

There is no way to get around the math if the wheel is legit. Why would a big book like BODOG do some something as dumb as fix their wheel to hit unplayed numbers 60% or 70% of the time when roulette is the most sure way to make money by just letting the math of the pair of green zeros to do their job..

Makes no sense. Not to mention saying I read somewhere and use that as the only proof that that the 60% 70% of the single unplayed number actually hit for this unknown individual.

I know some of you are going to say greed but that is just pure supposition.

Not saying its true or untrue just saying what I read. No need to cheat to come out in the long run but I could see where they would want to rig it even more.

I would like to try the little test but dont feel like spending that kind of money just in case its true

I read that we never landed on the moon so that must also be true.

When I see 20 or 21 in BJ 90% of the time It makes one wonder.

To make it worse, when I get 19 or 20, house always seems to win.

Ohhh yeah real random. Its software. Its rigged. Don't play any casino games online. Learn from my and other peoples mistake.

Show me independant surprise audits, and I'll take your word it's not rigged.

So say "Why would they risk it ?" I would answer ...

What's to stop them, and who's looking out for it ?

Bottom line .. its software. Anything can happen. But when I see 20, or 21 90% of the time, no audit is needed.

read somewhere that ......

I heard that too, from the gardener of my neighbor's nephew's sister, whose friend's brother's aunt is a part time delivery gal for the vice president of an accounting firm whose shop is on the same street as the guy who repairs many of the roulette wheels in casinos.

I read it too.

It was on a sports handicapping web forum in their Offshore topics and the guy who wrote it seemed at least 50% reliable.

It would not surprise me to find out that there are Brick and Mortar games rigged too. Cheating has gone on in games of chance as long as they have been played. Would it surprise you if your state lottery were rigged. Could happen. Jai-Alai,Horse Racing, Boxing, all have been rigged. The possibilities are endless.

I choose not to obsess over this subject. It leads you down a black hole. Why feed the paranoia that lurks within the human mind. I enjoy gambling and want to keep it that way.

What are you going to do if it's not. Call your lawyer and bring a lawsuit against the offshore online casino you're playing at..

For the record

During the four years I have been head mod here at the Rx I have received hundreds of complaints about various sports books and not once has anyone complained to me about roulette at BODOG being rigged.

Threads like this one do a lot of damage to not only the book involved but the Rx also because without a doubt some people will read it and believe that BODOG is foolish enough to rig a sure winner like roulette.

Obviously sponsors like BODOG are not easy to come by so whenever a claim is made that they are cheating we have to do what we can to make sure the truth is brought out. In this case I have noting to go on because the information is third hand at least.

I have no problem with someone who has a real provable problem with a book and comes forward. I will always be ready to assist that person immediately but when I read something like "I heard this or that about a certain book" there is little I can do to see that the truth gets posted.

Anyone can post anything on these forums but without proof the post is like any other kind of unsubstantiated claim that are all over the internet is pure supposition.

The post that generated this thread at 2+2 is by a poster named Stars who has 57 posts there and everyone is about some kind of scam or another. This is the one post he made about BODOG:

I've seen a few threads here about bodog also... if you play their roulette game and cover all the numbers except one... almost 50 percent of the time that number will hit. Bodog's casino is pathetically rigged. And they even say somewhere on their site that they are losing money because of the economy. Those two things correlate.

So he says he saw a few threads about BODOG and their roulette game but no link to them or other proof is available. Then he says without evidence that BODOG's casino is pathetically rigged and despite that claims that the casino is losing money because of the economy. Makes no sense. Regardless of the economy a rigged game of any sort has to make money.

There is no way to defend a business or person against unproven allegations so I will not even try.

Regarding poster Stars at 2+2 most of his other posts are about poker sites using bots etc.

BODOG has been a sponsor here longer than I have been a mod here (going on 6 years) and have had plenty of detractors over the years yet today they still pay their winners and remain a reliable book to use for the average player.

All I can say to anyone is believe what you think is the real truth.

Thanks, wilheim

never said it was true or untrue.

I just said I read that someone, then when I got called out about it, I posted the link where I read it.

What I was trying to do was get someone with some extra cash at bodog wanting to blow a little money was to try to get someone over here to do this and see what the results would be.

The only way to find out is to do it yourself.

Anyone want to try this

Dont need to try it to know the guy is full of shit....there are 38 numbers on the wheel and a win pays 35-1, so even if he won every spin he would still lose moneycus he's betting 37 to win 35 everytime....

Got to take Wills side on this 1...a valued sponsor is too great an asset to the site to front page B.S. like this......
