This might sound lame but yes. I make a pot of coffee at home and take it to work. This allows me to cut out about $5 a day in Americanos from the Bakini Barista. It actually has saved me some serious change and those half naked gals will always be busy with someone elses money.
The terrible economy has taught me to gamble more responsibly. Just betting the games that I feel most strongly about. I'm being more responsible about many other things in my life as well. Anyone else cutting back on anything to save money?
Same here. I lost to much over the years and I have a little left offshore. Once that goes, I will wait till baseball if at all.
Not lame at all. I bought a Keurig coffee maker and have been doing that for years. Stopped eating out and stopped buying expensive toys.

I used to have 75k offshore at the start of most football seasons spread out among five books. I would never do that anymore. It's even hard to find agents anymore and with the demise of Neteller it's impossible to move large amounts of coin around. I can't even shop lines anymore as I am down to 10k at one book. I have a couple locals but they limit me to 500 bucks a game. I have really found other things to take up my spare time and it's pretty cool to not always obsess about gambling.
Trust me. It's easy to find other hobbies that take up your time. I went through the whole day yesterday not even thinking about spreads and totals and I didn't miss it one bit. This place and an occassional game is just that, occassional.

That's the best feeling, having not to worry. I have wasted so much time in life on this game. I'm 32, so I have plenty of time to have fun, hopefully. When I look back, I can't believe the road it took me on. All started from one $25 bet to up to 3K a game back in the day. Those days are over. Like all of us, WE ARE LIVING ON BARROWED TIME!!
Some people are naturally drawn to things you can get addicted to. Others are drawn to things they are good at. If you are addicted to it and not good at it, you are going to be in a world of hurt.
Not everyone can win at playing poker. Not everyone can be consistent at sports wagering. The sooner 95% of the people out there realize this, the better off the rest of their life will be.

See this is me. Thankfully, I've matured to a point where I've realized it is tough to win enough money to buy a home but it is easy to lose enough to buy a home - it took quite few losses to get there.
I've traded what could be described as a gambling addiction (still get 'action' down - but only in small amounts) for what has become a running addiction. Started out with 5ks and now train for 50ks, 50s (miles) and 100s (miles). Finding the healthy addiction is the key
