I would be surprised if he fought cautiously since that is why Dana set this matchup...he was sick of guys acting scared of Anderson. When Silva DID have guys go after him, he destroyed them (Franklin x2, Hendo, Marquardt, Irvin) & they were guys that either fight at 205 or are very big 185ers.
Hendo took Anderson down for 1 rd, layed & prayed then got ate up in the 2nd and Hendo is a FAR better wrestler than Forrest who is pretty average in that dept. Anderson's clinch is sick also which is how Forrest normally takes guys down. Catching Anderson is a problem in & of itself as his quickness is better than Rashad's & that was Forrest's downfall in that fight always getting beaten to the punch. Anderson will be in & out and has already gameplanned for the takedowns since EVERYONE knows that's his only path to victory. If he gets him down Anderson's defensive BJJ is good enough to get it back standing by tying him up. All of that being said if Forrest gets him down & if it doesn't get stood up too quickly he'll need to get him down & keep him down for the majority of 2 of 3 rds to win.
Forrest has also shown a pattern of getting frustrated with his gameplans & just standing/trading with guys even though Forrest hasn't shown KO power.
His 2 big wins were against a guy with such a bad knee he trained far less than normal for the fight AND had to have 2 surgeries to correct the problem. The other was against a guy who literally went on a Rampage (pun intended) just days after the fight meaning something was probably not right (mentally) before/during that fight.
The guy has TONS of heart but when Anderson trains THIS long for an opponent he doesn't get out-willed or out-hearted and Forrest just doesn't have enough skills to win this even in a shortened 3 rds fight
