I will have a zero balance offshore as of Monday. It is much easier then you think to find an agent. I've already got my pin #'s and passwords and have already placed a few "credit wagers" online. I thought it would be difficult to set this up but after meeting and talking to a few fellow gambler friends this was a piece of cake. The initial limits are a little low to start out but I can live with that.

Please guys, no specifics in relation to agents on the forum....

I would never disclose specific information about this subject but I will say this looks likes the wave of the future.

Harrington seems awfuly proud of himself.

I had used offshore agents back in the early and mid 90's and then found online offshores and found bonuses and the click of the mouse and money mgt to be better than meeting up with the damn guy every 7 days.

But I have renewed old contacts and am back to the future as well.

Sure hope all this works out our way then I'll be back, actually still betting online but riding out what little I have left.

Not proud at all in fact very dissapointed BadCo that this is what has become of the industry thanks to our fine government. Actually I will be doing my drop through a guy I work with so that part won't be so bad.

I believe that is one the reason Pinnacle came down .The goverment knew they had thousands of agents .Pinnacle had more agents than all the books put tog ethere and were selling their service for a fee . What agent is was a x bookmaker or current bookmaker that did not to answer phones put up lines just pay and collect

if you heard some one say they were kick out of Pinnacle for winning on horses or sports that was all bullshit .The agent did not their action anymore .

Maybe if I call the books I played at they can refer me to their agents

Yes, Harrington is absolutely right; it's the wave of the future. I wish I could explain more, but as the mods advise, such matters should be discussed privately.

A agent is nothing but a bookmaker that dont want to the work anymore That pays for the services. If you use a agent you lose many fringe benefits He must guarantee the money ..
Example at Bet Cris no rebates on horses no house q no sign or reup bonuses.
If you have a problem with posting use a agent. Agent also disappear .
Has anyone heard about Pinnacle kicking you out that was a agent that did not want your business any more Pinnacle kicked no one out .

Sen. Frist and Reps. Kyle and Leach, I hope you are happy now. You get
what you want, people at the mercy of street collection agents, gambling
away money they don't have.

This is exactly what offshore got the industry away from since Internet
shops opened and professionalised the entire industry.

Meyer Lansky and Al Capone must be laughing from the grave, hoping to
come back as a local in NY or Florida.

Lawyer Martin Owns said it right down the line:

Over seventy countries now permit I-gaming worldwide, and many license it
under their sovereign authority. That includes the USA, where a dozen
States license Internet services to take
horse bets, and where such conservative States as Georgia, Virginia, and
North Dakota are moving to accept Internet bets online.
This is no bold,
pioneering step--the lotteries of Canada, the UK and Europe have been
online for years.

But the American powers-that-be will not yield. They take refuge in
denial and fantasy. In the DOJ’s alternative universe, gambling is
still a shocking evil, to be suppressed by local prosecutors with
political ambitions. Internet gaming has not actually grown into a
licensed and sanctioned global industry, but is simply a vast plot by
the forces of darkness, as when assistant FBI Director Mershon
pronounced I-gaming “a colossal criminal enterprise masquerading as
legitimate business.
” And the Protectors’ tactics are equally
desperate. Unable to make a real world case against I-gaming itself, or
to make other nations obey, the DOJ is now using administrative
measures: “If you ever want to see your Board of Directors again, get
out of the US market.
” (You or I, behaving thusly, would be dealing in
blackmail and hostage taking.) And since (according to the DOJ), the
State licensed I-gambling is also illegal, we can only wonder how long
it will take before State officials will also be detained for conspiracy
and the Wire Act. Here’s hoping that sheer moral fervor won’t lead to
the beheading of captives taken by the gambling jihad.

Rumors have been heard that this is all a big business conspiracy--that
American interests are preparing their way into the I-gaming market by
outlawing the competition. It might be better if that were true--there
are ways to communicate with conspiring monopolists, a chance to point
out that cooperation is in their interests, too. But regrettably, it
ain’t so. There is no guiding intelligence behind the animosity. If
there were, they would not try to knock out essential facilities such as
Neteller’s.
If dominating the market were the goal, there would be
avenues of cooperation left open as well as procedures which were
forbidden.

This is, in fact, the scariest part of the whole business. It is now
clear that this administration is not buying time to accommodate the
future--they want to make sure that I-gaming’s future never arrives. It
can no longer be doubted that the actual goal, practical or not, is to
eliminate American I-gaming altogether, probably followed by a push
against the land-based gambling that already exists. Frank Fahrenkopf
(American Gaming Association President) said as much at G2E (Global
Gaming Expo) this year. It sounded like exaggeration at the time. Not
anymore.

Will the neo-prohibition crowd be able to accomplish their aim? Hardly.
A $12 billion dollar industry is not going to disappear--in fact it is
still on track to top $20 billion by 2010, and mobile-phone gaming is
set to expand to a $16 billion market all by itself. But there will be
a price: The DOJ’s shortsighted, blunt-force tactics are driving out
the respectable, accountable, progressive and responsible parties who
wanted to participate in I-gaming. By default then, it will go more and
more into the hands of others.
The same ones the DOJ swears it is
protecting us against.

I had agents a while back. It sucks going back and forth every week. I personally got in trouble more with agents. My money management skills went out the door if i was down on saturday, then trying to get even on sunday. With all this stuff going on with the neteller and pinnacle, I have been using an agent again. I will stop after the superbowl. Its not worth the headache using an agent.

Great points and only time will tell. The larger players have no choice. But I will tell you one thing I sure miss posting up and being able to move $$ around easily. As far as money management the points you make are dead on in that regard.

There are many disadvantages to using an agent vs. a credible online book suck as pinnacle. Before I used pinny, I used to get furious with my book holding lines until all the dust settled, the line had moved (usually against me) and there was no edge left. Try and get a NFL line from a local on Tue or Wed or even Sat, BB balls.

Try and get a parlay with NCAA FB, NFL, money line and spread. Good luck. 1st half, 2nd half, quarters, joke. These guys take the safest plays and you pay for it.

Our government learned nothing from prohibition. Guido is back and smiling all the way to the safety deposit box.

I am betting into two offshore books using agents. Both have a huge selection of options. It's no different then usual except no post up.
