I've seen this line in many posting forums last night and today "Las Vegas rules provide that all wagers placed prior to today are graded as no action." That's pretty innaccurate.
It's true at the Stardust and other Boyd Gaming properties, and at Mandalay Bay and the Imperial Palace. But an equal number of books let all bets stand as written since their house rules only address date changes and not site changes. Those books included the Park Place group (Caesars, Bally's, Paris, Las Vegas Hilton, Flamingo, et al), Coast Casinos (Orleans, Gold Coast, Suncoast, Barbary), Station Casinos, Leroy's outlets.
There is no standard "Las Vegas rules"...each book sets its own house rules.
