As a Ohio State fan I am getting sick and tired of losing to the top ranked teams in the country and getting laughed at everytime they play a big game.I'm sick that he is living off his 2002 National Championship and he is so damn conservative it isnt even funny.The man can recruit but now Im starting to question that with the lack of speed on this team and big playmakers on offense.The defense is getting no rush and wearing down in the 4th quarter and you dont put no pressure on a Freshman with a corner blitz or something.Now granted this team really had no chance to win the national championship or anything like that because I know he is rebuilding this year but for christ sakes change your style a bit because what you are doing know isnt working in big games it might work with the lower teams in the BIG 10 but against the big boys you just dont have it.I know I am rambling on here but changes need to be made either to his staff or Tressel himself I guess we will wait and see and I know I will take some heat for writing this but who cares Im pissed off right now and I need to vent.
Your right they played a ok game tonight but just getting tired of losing to the top teams in the nation but unfournately the ride is getting a bit bumpy right now and not going to get better anytime soon.If you enjoy going to Orlando for bowl games fine but that is not the goal for a top 10 university who gets some great athletes to come play there and crap the bed when they play somebody goo and thats not cutting it for me .
Ok I guess you dont get it but you have record crowd which is loud as hell and late in the 4th qtr and you let a freshman qb on the road and let him go down the field to score the winning TD on you.You cant stop there run and no pressure on him at all when he is back to pass on that drive is down right a shame.
Zzzzz Please bigtend.. These are extremely lame criticisms. If anything we saw tonight that Terrell Pryor is not a very good big game QB. He made numerous mistakes and poor decisions throughout the game.
If he sits on the ball and punts there will be another group of assholes on here bitching that he was too conservative. If he settles for a long FG and misses it, same criticisms and this same thread will be started with different arguments.

Tressel reminds me so much of Joe Gibbs when he came back to the Redskins. He was just so out of date with the rest of the league it was amazing. The Big 10 in general is throwback to more "old school" football, hence the reason that most of the Big 10 gets owned by the SEC and such that play a more wide open style with more of an emphasis on speed.
I don't think Tressel needs to go, but I 100% agree that coaching cost OSU this game.

Another bad call was throwing the ball down field on 3rd and 3 with 55 seconds left in the half when USC has no time outs left. WHY???????????
Bad play calling with continuing to call the Option. It didn't work the first few times, why call it on the goal line and why call it in the 4th Qtr??????

yeah, this was a really shitty outcome.. i mean, if i am already losing money on the usc spread, I at least hoped that the suffering would end for the fans of ohio state. Tressel has proven that he can't get it done time and time again. If he couldn't beat this SORRY ass USC squad that showed up tonight, at home in that electric environment, it will never happen.
