That your dad is one of the officials with your two uncles and they have the family inheritance on the game so they throw it for the winnings?

That you personally are going to kidnap the star player 1 minute before game time?

That from the movie "Back to the Future 3" and you got in the damn Delorian and went into the future to get the Sports Almanac with all the scores listed so you know for a fact that you cant lose?

Lock of the year is a phrase attention starved handicappers use to garner extra attention.

I don't mind it. I hope your not one of those guys who throws a shit fit when some jinxes you and you guys look like morons reverse jinxing each other. Grow up.

Thanks for the input. No, i am not one of those guys that gets suckered into the word "Lock" it just drives me crazy for some reason. It makes me want to go against it every time. It is like saying "I swear to God" when you know you are lying

when i first came to the rx a few months ago...i posted a nfl pick and the thread title read lock of all locks lock it in...and it won....but i got bashed so bad...and at first i didnt understand what was going on....until i was here a little longer and seen how this is not accepted at all in a forum...but before then i had no idea...i learned my lesson though...and now it doesnt bother me when someone calls it a lock....its the reverse locks that drive me crazy..
