The players that trust the watchdog first and make those ads earn their value are the ones to get burned.

Its kind of ironic isn't it?

Money in, ads go up....Ads come down, no money comes out though.

Since the ads came down, the advertising money could go back to the player that was sent there or to PanAm to pay the player.

My opinion is PanAm will be OK but that is just my opinion. Truth is TheRX is a top result on Google for "sportsbook" and every surfer isn't a forum sharp so no one should be feeding a player crap that TheRXers should know better.

PanAm is an infant operation floated on its Marketing guy's name and everyone here knows it.

Hopefully this is the last book people will justify because of who the PR guy is, no matter how good he is at it.

I think this whole thing sucks, and I think it sucks the way the Shrink overly promoted them. However, people need to realize that no watchdog site can possibly monitor every sportsbook out there. they can do their best and there will always be situations where they are wrong. Look at sportsbook review? they are wrong all the time, but they are doing their best. I think it is a joke the way books go from d- to blacklist, to c, to b, etc. but the bottom line is that these sites cannot know everything about every single book out there, they can only do their best. Is this site, and MW to blame? I guess they make a good scapegoat, but when I lost huge on Worldcom, I yelled at my stock broker, which didn't help much more than going nuts will do over here. People have said it before, and it makes sense. Keep small balances, and never keep an amount high enough that it will ruin your life.

I italicized it for ya. I didn't want to stress the sarcasm part initially.

Every time a book goes down the politicians come out. No, you don't know everything but maybe ya take the time to look.

Bill:

I'm assuming the title of this thread refers to money going IN to the book. Surely, you don't believe that the little guys are first in line for money coming OUT of PanAm

The fact that the fortunes change at these books like the wind is a good reason for their ratings to go up and down. Think about it, until folks were slow paid, Pan Am was probably in the "stand up book" category here.

This is just another example of the fact that the Rx probably has to examine their relationship with the books, their role in the promotion process, and their duty (or possibly, lack there of) to the community/posters.
