1) 4) No, what is ridiculous is that people forget that over the past 3-5 years Favre has been one of the worst QB's in the league.
I actually am somewhat happy the Packers are moving on. It still doesn't make the above quote any less ignorant. Favre had one bad year and one mediocre in the last 5.

But good luck with Jay Cutler this year. LOL!

Brett Favres last 5 years in the NFL

80 games , 19370 Yds , 3 Pro Bowls , 128 TDs , 100 Ints , 62.3 Comp %
45-35 Record (56 % )
83.6 QB rating

If those are one of the worst QBs numbers over the last 5 years ... I wanna know what your smoking and how I can get some.

Check last three years then. I did say 3-5 after all. I don't have the stats in front of me, but he just hasn't been one of the top QB's in recent years. I wouldn't even put him in the top 5 last year. I even had him on my fantasy team last year as my backup, but I won't say he was top tier. He just had a great supporting cast. Rodgers showed in limited time he could do just as well.

You guys sound like a bunch of fruitcakes here. It's very simple for me.

Does Aaron Rodgers or Brett Favre give the Packers a better chance of going to the Super Bowl this year? I don't care if you think they will or not because that's not the question. Simply ask yourself if Rodgers or Favre makes your team better.

If you answer Rodgers you seriously should never post here again.

best post in any of these favre threads.most of these anti favre posts are ridiculous at least if you love the packers,if you are a green bay fan this is a catastrophe no matter how you spin it

from the time I was born in the late 60s until favre came to the packers in the 90's I think green bay had five winning seasons .FIVE WINNING SEASONS

five winning seasons, and one during the year of the strike,in 23-24 years.all I remember growing up were bad packer teams and they were just a joke

if getting rid of brett favre was making way for the future ,the future is going to look alot like the past[pre-favre past] for packer fans.I hope not

4155 Yds, 28 TDs , 15 Ints , 95.7 rating (3rd best of career) 66.5 completion % ( best of career.)

Management can't really convince themselves that this gives them the best chance to win the SB this year, Can they ? Rodgers probably doesn't even make it out of the exhibition season alive. Who cares if Farve had a tough time making up his mind, not exactly the biggest crime ever committed, like some of you make it to be. Once he wanted to play again , Green Bay should have been asking him how fast can you get here. This team won't even make the playoffs with Rodgers. This team is not rebuilding anymore either, so even if they lose their investment in a 1st rd pick for Rodgers, who cares. :think2:

It was a stupid move :think2:
