"In addition, Sarah Palin appears to be a continuing – if not an increasing – drag on the GOP ticket. Currently, 49% of voters express an unfavorable opinion of Palin, while 44% have a favorable view. In mid-September, favorable opinions of Palin outnumbered negative ones by 54% to 32%. Women, especially women under age 50, have become increasingly critical of Palin: 60% now express an unfavorable view of Palin, up from 36% in mid-September. Notably, opinions of Palin have a greater impact on voting intentions than do opinions of Joe Biden, Obama’s running mate."

Uh oh. Women bailing on the Palin annointment. LOL. That ain't gonna cut it for the Puglies.

Add to that the recent 150K shopping adventure at Saks and Neimans (bet that really goes over good with "real america" in those 'darn small towns, where a trip for new clothes is to WalMart or Penny's)

And finally add the fact she is just stupid. Hasn't fucking even read the Constitution nor understands the limited role that the VP has.

USS McPalin has gone tits up folks......

If you think Biden was a good choice give me some of that shit your smokin:nohead:

Do you know what qualifies someone as a good VP choice? Or are you totally ignorant when it comes to politics?

What makes Biden a good choice is that he doesn't hurt his ticket and in some respect helps the ticket. The Palin selection has totally turned off moderates and democrats that may have voted for McCain. If you look at the polling data its pretty clear that Sara Palin's selection is the single greatest reason for mccain's disastrous drop in the polling.

Lets see, Palin gets picked, McCain surges ahead and remains there until the stock market crises.

Since the Lehman chit hit the ceiling and all the panic that followed, Obama pulls ahead and that trend continues today.

Now y'all can continue on with another stroke fest, I hate to be a party pooper, but it's the economic concerns that changed this election, much more so than the lame biased hateful attacks on Palin by the enablers and swallowed whole the the flock have. (you could at least chew boys, don't want y'all to choke).

Cause and effect logic around here is akin to; The Patriots killed the Broncos on Monday night because Tom Brady was out:103631605

You should learn about something called a convention bounce. To give palin all the credit for big convention bounce is either ignorant or proves that McCain was not the right person nominated. Either way, your party is in serious trouble.

LOL Wullie

Ardent Bushie and Neocon supporter Hitchens on the Puglie ticket.....

Vote for Obama, McCain lacks the character and temperament to be president. And Palin is simply a disgrace.

By Christopher Hitchens, Posted Monday, Oct. 13, 2008

....The most insulting thing that a politician can do is to compel you to ask yourself: "What does he take me for?" Precisely this question is provoked by the selection of Gov. Sarah Palin. I wrote not long ago that it was not right to condescend to her just because of her provincial roots or her piety, let alone her slight flirtatiousness, but really her conduct since then has been a national disgrace. It turns out that none of her early claims to political courage was founded in fact, and it further turns out that some of the untested rumors about her—her vindictiveness in local quarrels, her bizarre religious and political affiliations—were very well-founded, indeed. Moreover, given the nasty and lowly task of stirring up the whack-job fringe of the party's right wing and of recycling patent falsehoods about Obama's position on Afghanistan, she has drawn upon the only talent that she apparently possesses. It therefore seems to me that the Republican Party has invited not just defeat but discredit this year, and that both its nominees for the highest offices in the land should be decisively repudiated, along with any senators, congressmen, and governors who endorse them.

Like he's gone on to say in subsequent interviews......her nomination is a "sick" joke. I felt that from the day it was announced.

Cuzzie, good and smart people can & do disagree. There will always be people from both parties that don't like their party's candidate, only conservatives are much more inclined to say so. We don't have that lock step thing down nearly as good as libbies do.

Any one man's opinion don't mean jack shit to me.

Obviously, he doesn't like McCain much. I don't know many people that had McCain as their first choice. He won the nomination by winning 33% of the votes in NH & SC, totally weird.

McCain was lagging, McCain had no interest, McCain had no money and Palin actually got him in the game. They then mismanaged her for one month, he makes a fiasco out of the budget crisis, he sucks in the debates (especially the third one), throw in the stock market and baddabing, he's trailing and heading South.

Palin on the other hand, had record viewers for her convention speech, had record viewers for "HER" debate, draws big crowds, brought in big money and even gave SNL their highest rated show in 14 years.

You do the math, it's pretty obvious to me.

It's amazing she still doesn't understand the role of a VP.

She's had at least 4 chances to answer this question and she got it wrong each time. The way she answers questions makes one think she's competing in a beauty pagaent. Funny thing is she probably thinks she establishing herself for a serious run for the 2012 presidency. LOL:nohead:

Cuss, I send my absentee ballot in tomorrow. If Sarah appears topless on the news tonight, my vote changes.
