My apoligies to those who aren't familiar with this topic, but for those in which it is I thought I would share in hopes of helping
so many who are torn on which system to buy.
Back in the day I had a PlayStation 1 and 2.
Converted to Xbox 360 later on because felt it was better overall compared to the PlayStation 3.
With the new console war and a tough decision, I decided to go with the Sony PlayStation 4 over the XBOX 1.
But just like hundreds, if not thousands of others, I've had nothing but problems with it freezing up every few minutes, and even getting too hot.
Sony supporters say that for the heating problem you need to make sure the system has plenty of ventilation and even have a fan pointed towards it. Well duh that goes for any similar electronic devices (dvd player, satellite, etc.) but they dont get hot like this thing does.
I say that's a complete joke after hearing the ps3 had similar issues, and the fact that I never had one problem with the xbox because Microsoft has enough sense to put a sufficient fan inside to keep it somewhat cool.
Hey Sony, it's's not the buyer's responsibility to have to be concerned with finding a secondary, alternative way to cool a system they just forked out $400+ for.
Not that it matters anyhow since the freakin thing usually freezes up before it even reaches the overheating point :>(
