About the number of people who cancelled after last night's episode of the Sopranos.
========================================================
First off, the majority of them were going to cancel after the final episode anyway.
We all know that everyone will be back when HBO comes out with their next "can't miss" show. Will it be John from Cincinnati? Not sure, but HBO has 4 new shows coming out, I believe. With their track record, one of them is bound to be great.
I have all the premium channels and HBO/Cinemax is by far the best and it's not even close. Showtime/TMC sucks as well as Starz. I like the Encore brand of Starz, but Starz is terrible, unless you like to watch Pirates 87 times a day.
Blaming HBO is a knee jerk reaction and somewhat childish. I don't think they had a whole lot of say in the finale. This was Chase's baby and it was bigger than them. Personally, I liked the ending. (not loved, liked).
Oh and one more thing, if you cancel HBO and then buy a couple of DVD's of their shows, you basically paid the same amount you would pay for a year or two's subscription anyway.
