under 8.5 in toronto (tuesday night)
everyone and their mother is on the over here. which is kinda easy to understand since toronto bats are on fire. but make no mistake, last two toronto overs were pretty much 'one-sided' and that can not last forever. their opponents, cleveland yesterday and white sox the day before were clueless on offense, and that will continue today against morrow. the indians scored 2 runs or less in 5 of their last 6 games. morrow has a great k/bb ratio and he only allowed 1 home run in 39 innings pitched this season and that happened with no outs, in the first inning in his first start this season. So, since then, he's gone 39 innings with no home runs allowed. The Indians depend a lot on power hitting in road games this season. The under is 10-0 in last 10 Indians road contests when they don't score a single home run. And in last three of this sort they failed to even score a single run. Talbot is historically a good road pitcher and that could be one of the best kept secrets in the MLB. His effort @LAA earlier this season (0 er in 8 IP) is not a fluke. He is 8-4 (8-4 for under as well) in his last 12 starts and his ERA in last 11 road contests is 1.98. Bet you didn't know that. So, if you are looking for a pitcher with guts to face this red hot Jays offense then look no further. Talbot is your guy.
