Right now the CDC reports this virus could kill up to 1.7 million Americans. This is the same CDC that predicted Ebola would infect over 1 million in Africa. It wound up affecting under 30,000. Not like the "experts" ever get anything wrong , right?
I bet you millions of people around the world and in the US already have a mild form of this virus and don't even realize it. Dr. Oz said as much recently on Fox.

many have had this , just been treated as a flu/virus and sent home, others with respiratory are being admitted
and many hospitals are still treating that way and not testing, treating as that and sending home to recover , 9 people just from a 7:00 pm to 7:00 am at one of the main hospitals in my city
its social media and opinions and the uncertainty that differs this from any other at the moment
as gambling brothers lets all just see what happens, words of encouragement and hope its “contained, passes, etc” so we can all get back to normal
this is not good for anyone that works for a living , has family and investments
No country has really dealt with it without using extreme measures though. Not that I've seen.
Closest is Korea and they got it early, have an obedient society and likely are significantly less predisposed to something like this given overall levels of health.

Btw, at the start of the Coronavirus outbreak, the PM of Italy encouraged a country-wide hug-a-thon directed at every Chinese guest... because...ya know, quarantines and travel bans are "racist" and "xenophobic" or something. So? He's a doctor, not the first to suggest it. There's a reason why many people seek 2nd and 3rd medical opinions. These guys aren't Gods or psychics. Don't automatically assume the CDC has a crystal ball, quite the opposite - their record is horrendous.
The reality is, if this Dr. Fauci guy is the defacto Commander-in-Chief making all the decisions now, we are fucked. There are other factors to consider, not just this lousy virus with less than a 2% death rate in the United States.

Yes I do compile data! A reason for the "rapid spread" is more people are aware of it and are getting tested. That's not to say that this IS THE SOLE reason for a rapid spread. But let's face it, before this hysteria most would go about their day with various flu like symptoms. I'm never wrong when debating lol, (too bad I'm always wrong when picking games!!) hopefully this isn't the first time!:thumbsup:
