Everybody acts like they won the big one already.. I hope the line favors florida tomorrow also.. The reporters are asking these gay questions.. What a joke, freaking fools..

Im pounding Chicago!!

I wont be surprised if the Cubs score double digit runs again tomorrow night like earlier in the series..

all the reporters keep busting Dusty on the stupid fan call as if that was the only reason the Cubs lost.

The Cubs will be the favorite tomorrow, probably about 2-1 with Wood on the hill, but Florida definitely has short-term momentum and the team has no quit in them.

Doesn't remind you of WS Game 6 six year? I think Dusty was manager then too.

Nothing against Dusty. I just think that emotion and momentum count volumes.

You still have a HUGE edge where it matters most - Starting Pitcher.

Should be a great one - Wood is awesome, but the Fish sure are a scrappy bunch.

Is it really a HUGE edge in pitching?
What are Wood and Redman's ERAs are WHIPs. There records are pretty comparable, and the big edge I see is K's for Wood, but after all they still only count for one out too.

Hey everyday gambler, wtf are you talking about? Fox would love to see the Cubs win this series. Ratings =$$$ for the networks.

If I were a Cubs fan I would blame FOX for jinxing this. Only 27 more outs, only 15 more outs, only 6 more outs, only 5 more outs.

Get a grip.

14-11, 3.20 era, 1.19 whip , 8-6 away record

14-9, 3.59 era, 1.22 whip, 6-8 home record.

Is that really a HUGE pitching edge?????

First line is Redman's numbers, second is Wood, is this the mismatch the hype is lead to be?

The K's are what counts--If the ball is not in play--nothings happens.

Green,
Did you get the stats jumbled up? ESPN has ..

Fla - Redman (14-9, 3.59)
ChC - Wood (14-11, 3.20)

Woods NL rankings
• Ranks 1st in NL in SO (266)
• Ranks 3rd in NL in BB (100)
• Ranks 8th in NL in ERA (3.20)
• Ranks 9th in NL in WHIP (1.19)
• Ranks 5th in NL in CG (4)
• Ranks 2nd in NL in BAA (.203)

Redman's rankings
• Ranks 8th in NL in CG (3)

And Wood is pitching at home. Wood is the better pitcher statistically.

oops you're right lander,
wood is the first line and redman the second, with the home/away records reversed, Wood is 6-8 at home.

Agreed, he is the better pitcher statistically, but the margin is not HUGE as some are making it out to be.

Awesome series, can't wait for the game tomorrow! This is what it's all about!

By the way, anybody blaming the fan is an idiot! That guy probably loves the Cubs and will not sleep again , unless the Cubs win tomorrow and besides that at least 3 fans went for the ball, he just happened to touch it!
