I have sevaeral things I wanted to cover with him...Including his relationship with the Van Patton family ( was he really on an 8 is enough episode ) Is he the sharpest Little League capper in the country (in his opinion) How does he scout all these little league teams? What is his current relationship with Rick Neuheisel? How did he feel about Peyton Manning`s new contract? Would he consider himself a racist?

I have many questions for him...

My question for him is

When will he give us his next selection, this guy takes the time to post solid information, adds some humor or some storytelling, but face it he hits 60% for us and I value his posts.

Railbird do your thing!

I love the guy. It is amazing how sharp he is in several sports. College baskets on the west coast are simply fodder for him.

That is a site with my buddy Vinny playing Paddle Tennis in Venice Beach,Ca

Their is no serve and volley aloud in paddle tennis, you are holding serve by breaking the other guys serve. Its a fast action fun game. You serve underhand in paddle tennis, the scoring is the same as tennis.

Rail,

In your opinion, to what extent do the world's best sports bettors rely on the following to get their edge:

1) Publicly available information -- here I don't mean the obvious stuff, just little trends that aren't so obvious but uses info. that's available on the net.

2) Information available only to those that "go deep" ie. watch the non-televised games, read the local news, talk to people who know the players or coaches etc.

3) Sensitive inside info. that only one or two people know -- here I'm talking mafia stuff like payoffs to refs or key players or deliberate coaching decisions to lose ATS.

What I'm looking for is a % distribution like 50-40-10 or something like that.

Thanks

Rail-

Have you played poker with Vince?

Are you a better poker player than Vince?

Why is he the "hollywood home game specialist?"

Darryl,

My break down on those 3, are 10-45-45, although it varies from sport to sport. I have a pretty keen eye when it comes to evelauating talent and knowing which styles will work. Their are scouts that are paid well that dont know what to look for. I currently am betting halftimes and that is where Im having the most success amking the halftime adjustments better than the linemaker is, who in most cases is using a formula that doesnt weigh the stuff that matters.

Swami,

I am good freinds with both Nells and Vince, I have retired from poker, although I am one of the best tournament players in the world. I have met many celebertys through Vince including his on again off again girlfrind Farah Fawcett. Vince brother Nells is the better Paddle tennis player, but Vince is the better tennis player. Nells has coached some atp tennis players including Vince Spadea and Micheal Joyce. Vince wont let me play in his home poker games, becasue he is smart enough to know it would be taking money out of his own pocket.

Rail,

10-45-45 hmmm, interesting...but somehow not surprising. It's kind of like the stock market I suppose -- the public stuff is built into the lines so if you want a real edge you have to know something the others don't -- makes sense.

Another question...

Why don't you have a tagline? Seems kind of odd to still have it say "Certifiably Crazy" after making over 3200 posts.
