Episode is the Millennium, right at the end. I know we have a lot of Seinfeld fans here.

Newman has a party, for the millenium.

At the end Jerry tells Newman the millennium doesn't actually start until 2001, so Newman's party would be a year late, when actually it's a year too early.

I think you may be reading a bit too deep. Newman identifies his party as the milennium party. Jerry tells Newman that his party would a year late and quite lame because back then, the hot party was for the beginning of 2000 and Newman's would be for the beginning of 2001.

I see what you're saying. It's a little confusing the way they worded the ending.

met a guy about 6 years ago that claimed he never heard of the show. in fairness to him he was a millionaire that was busy crossing the globe selling his ERP system for the Seinfeld years but still thought it was impossible that he never even knew the show existed until we got around to talking about it one day. syndication alone is 2-3 episodes/day

It was a good show in the middle but the first 2 seasons and the last 2 season kinda sucked

I disagree about the first two seasons. In my opinion they were the most "pure" when it comes to having a show about nothing.

You are correct about the final two seasons when it was just Jerry Seinfeld doing the writing. The actor's even admit on the special features of the series collection that the show lost what it was in the final few seasons.

I never watched Seinfeld until after it went off the air. Probably my favorite comedy of all time personally.I still have people tell me they don't care for the show. Whatever. It's like the ones that say the Beatles were not that great. I love the Stones but I will concede the Beatles were great also.
