stu scott has got to go. what is the appeal of this guy ?

he talks and acts like he played the game. he has to ghetto everything up and sound like a rapper.

hell, the one time he actually tried to play with the big boys he took a football off the face.

now he's trying to out dress mike irvin.

i put that show on one of my other monitors with the sound down until they go to a clip or some feature.

when he starts spewing, on comes the mute...

like you - i can't stand the guy but ESPN (mis)management LOVES the guy.

i agree with you about him "ghetto-ing" things down some. he makes it seem as if he is some moron - which he is - and turns off more people then he turns on to espn.

I saw that show for the first and last time tonight. I assume Stu Scott is the host. Awful. Bloody awful.

As awful (bloody awful) as the 'talent' is... it's the producers who are really to blame. They must have photos of Eisner in compromising positions to keep their job. Awful.

Do you suppose Irvin does the show for the money (blew his wad on crack?)... or just to get his mug on TV so he can get some 'tv recognition *****' from drunken secretaries in cougar bars?

Wait a minute, are you guys telling me that Stuart Scott isn't from Compton? I thought Stew, P Diddy, Jay Z, and 50c all hung out together.

ESPN Countdown Sucks

It is unwatchable. Its time to show Tom Jackson the door. Stu is silly sick and ridiculous. He be tupid too. His stupid handshakes on Dream Job is boorish and unprofessional. He is the token brother so he would have to get arrested for selling crack to kids before he gets canned.

Irvin holds up the show, the guy gets rave reviews from the people in charge so he is doing something right.

irvin i can tolerate. although his sucking up to T.O. is starting to wear me out a little.

i think the best nfl show espn has to offer now is the early morning show with merrill hoge and jaws. i learn something about the game everytime i watch it.

nfl matchup or something like that. cant recall the name.

I don't know about Stew, but P Diddy is from Westchester not West Side .. haha. The other two are East coasters too.

I wish that Stuart scott would be suffocated by the other side of the pillow!I cant stand him and his fellow gangstas and their jive talk. Only good one is Jaws.I could just hear the backlash if there was a white guy hosting the show and spoke white language (if we had one) all the time. I agree it is very unwatchable.I used to love it when Tirico hosted the show. He was avery good host and acted much more professional than Scott.

Every one of the pre-game shows has good ones and bad ones.

ESPN's Good Football Guys- Tom Jackson, Ron Jaworski, Chris Berman, Steve Young, Sal Paolantonio, John Clayton, Chris Mortensen

ESPN's Bad Football Guys - Stuart Scott, Sean Salisbury, Michael Irvin, Merrill Hoge (he can be good at times though)

Bad guys on other stations: Collinsworth (TERRIBLE), Esiason (ATROCIOUS), Marino (loved him as a player though), Cris Carter, Jimmy Johnson (on the fence a little, but leans more toward bad), Phil Simms

Good guys on other stations: Howie Long, Terry Bradshaw, James Brown, Gumbel

I can't believe a coach or player hasn't beaten the shit out of Sean Salisbury yet. Some of that shit he says has to rub somebody the wrong way.

Salisbury is the most self absorbed obnoxious a-hole on espn... I wish someone would knock his ass right of his chair..
