Yet i still do it. I tend to fade the public in the NBA now and look for fishy lines. The last few weeks has been horrible. Last night i thought the Clippers -2.5 was golden b/c public loves Spurs as underdogs. I found out that Spurs are horrible ATS on b2b games but the Clippers are still the Clippers. Clippers let alone should never be favorites against any team in the NBA. Last time they were 7.5 point favorites at home against those Kings and lost straight up and i thought that line didn't make no damn sense.
Well tonight, i see Warriors were 1 point favorites and Portland later is the favorite. I don't think Portland should be -1 because that line is so damn low even though they are playing back to back. Warriors are horrible without Baron Davis now. Obviously i take Warriors ML even money and they are playing like crap.
I am starting to get real annoyed with this home dog and Warriors are tough to beat at home crap. Same thing with the Spurs playing on the road back to back. I use to not care about those trends but when i started looking at it, it doesn't mean no damn DIFFERENCE. Clippers will continue to suck like they always do and unless the Spurs are playing at Boston on a back to back, then i would care.
I done this in football as well too with lines that looked too good to be true so i took the opposite and getting hammered. Portland should easily win tonight yet I took Warriors b/c it looked too easy to take Portland.
I need to stop looking for trap lines.
