Nice call by the 'Sick Zebra' , one calls pass interference , one doesn`t , they huddle up and somehow come to the conclusion Todd Heap wasn`t mugged at the 3 yard line! WTF!?!

I am only in my 30`s, so I do realize I am 25 years young for the job , but given the state of competancy in todays NFL referees , I should be given a real look...

Referees should be young, athletic and have 20/20 vision for starters! 19 Inch Arms of Steel like Ed Hockuli don`t hurt either.

Why not just bring back 85 year old Red Cashen, atleast he was entertaining.."FirstDown"!

For another thing, why was that fumbled punt in the first quarter not a touchdown for the Ravens?

I had the sound off but saw a fumble, a stand-up recovery and an easy jaunt to the end zone. Seems the zebras have been skimming the top from the Raven all game long to my eyes.

They actually did get that play right! Its called a "Muff" when the recieving team never has possesion but touches the ball, it can only be recovered by the defense, not advanced...

J-man: if you are blind and incompetent - you can get hired as a basketball ref for the big west. just realize you would be the best official out there - BY FAR!

winky is right about that, Big West basketball refs are the absolute worst, winky do you know the one ref with his hair slicked back and he runs around like tinkerbell, he blows his whistle on every possession? I will have my BigWest powerratings coming out later this week.

The Bucs/Panthers game was out of this world. The Bucs lost 100 yards on two horrible calls on two pass plays. One was even reviewed and was clearly a catch by Keyshawn... it was sickening.

Lets face it, the refereeing is getting worse every year, replay has helped but until they change the rules to allow replays on calls in which the refs screw up and blow the play dead there will always be blown calls and controversy.

***not sure which one you are talking about - but if it is bill vinovich - he also is an NFL official - he is the ONLY good one in the league. the worst have to be terry tackett and his eqaully incompetent son - showing the apple didn't fall from the tree! as for BW rankings - as bad as we are gonna be this year - i don't care anymore about the BW!
