Marshall over UB ML. No way UB wins this game but for some reason I told this guy he is crazy. I have seen 28 point underdogs win games outright. It will not happen, trust me UB is the worst DIV I team I have ever seen. Is this guy F#*KING NUTS?????

Why not just take Marshall,lol...take em laying the wood. If it loses take em next week for 400...thats crazy! So what are the odds a 28 point fave loses? Something like 1 in 33, well for 200 bucks thats just nuts!

Why is he nuts?

You said it yourself:

"No way UB wins this game..."

"It will not happen, trust me UB is the worst DIV I team I have ever seen."

So your friend will earn 3% on his money for an automatic (according to you) win.

Some people NEVER bet big moneylines. But as far as I'm concerned, value is value. If you saw -7000 on the Packers against Grover High School, wouldn't the Packers be a good value?

If he usually bets several thousand a game I would say ok. If he usually bets a nickel a game, he might consider 660 to win 20.

I don't like the bet, but I reserve huge bets for when I have a huge edge AND I am getting decent odds.

He is a dime or two a game player but has an unlimited and very deep bankroll.

I'm with the Judge. I can't do it.

I certainly understand the guys logic, and it is obviously most likely a free $200.

....most likely

Consider a Credit Card company (bank) that gives some poor slob a credit card with $2,000 limit. The person has no assests (house) blows the $2,000 and files bankruptcy. Now a bank has VERY DEEP POCKETS! So they lay a 21% interest rate on the guy from the start.

Who's gambling here???

it is probably just the thrill of having that much money out on the game, but knowing it should win considering how bad UB is

Same people that bet 10k on a horse to show that pays $ 2.10. High success rate but a loser in the long run.

journey is right though. just bet the spread to make 200 and go double or nothing. you can do that for like 5 weeks.
