good luck with that NBA capper.

I have toned down my betting tremendously recently...but primarily because work has gotten so busy. I think football season may change that a bit

I know from experience how incredibly bad, "bad runs" can get. Losing the money is bad enough, but it also haunts the psyche in a unique kind of way, especially if you quit and make "what if I were still betting picks". They will all win! Good luck with your gambling vacation or retirement.

good luck with the next chapter sir

stay strong and focused on your goal

never focus your energy on things you can't control (i.e., the past).....

use that energy to make the changes you need to make in order to be happy

Thank u all. I'll still be here daily but needed to make a post for myself as the first step to stop gambling on sports. It's the only thing I cannot control.

Cool your jets.

Add up that poisonous wood layed while losing this 10k.

Then take the other side of only the plays where the other side was +100 and up money. No -110/-110 bullshit. Not even -101s' for the dog. Spreads or moneylines. What's the result? Just for fun. And respectfully, I understand these are unfun times.

By the way, if the losses came because the dogs never covered, that is a sore loss. Adding, those events are intermittent, and never last.

Now if your 10k represented 2 picks, my advise would be to turn to bingo. Although there's more vig in bingo, you'll last longer.

NBA, your post kind of grab me partner. Maybe my story is 25 years ago....all the same.

Been there much worse than you can imagine...had the money and went stupid with sports betting.

Got low...Goddamn low especially with family and friends. Without my mother's never ending love,
I would be dead now. That old women's tough love changed and saved my life.

Happy as and old 68 year old SOB can be right now..........still wager.....but not for the money! That's the
key my friend...have fun and if you win....give it to those who need it.
