if tiger doesn't pick up the first major in agusta, he might get shutout this year....he wins 1 major tops

ochoa is a beast of a woman

I was in Guadalajara back in 1997 or so when Ochoa was around 14 years old or so. Well we at the Guadalajara Country Club ready to play a round with my Dad. We only had a twosome, so they had 1 young female join our group since every other group had at least 4 players. It turns out it was a young 14 year old Mexican Girl. Little did I know it at the time, but it was none other than Lorena Ochoa.

She hit the ball fairly far, but that wasnt the best part of her game at that time. She missed alot of greens, but almost ALWAYS got the ball up and down. We all played from the back tees and I would estimate that she shot around a 76 or so. Keep in mind that this course is around 7000 yards long if I remember correctly. So even at 14, she could play with the best jumiors in the world. This is no fluke.

great thread..

What Tiger wants Tiger gets.....it's that simple..

I have a $100 thing w/ my dad .....Tiger (ME)..PHIL (HIM)

If they don't finish in the top 10...no play

If either of them get there and one loses......PAY

Head to Head...it's a double play....

it's been OK so far for me....

By the way, someone asked for odds on this.

Well I gamble on golf and know quite a bit about golf and the PGATOUR.

I would say that a good over/under for Tiger Victories would be 10 or possibly 9. Now that counts the win in Dubai as well.

Most likely the over/under would be at 9 with the over at -135 or so.

The reason for the low number is because you have to factor in injuries. Also, Tiger plays a smaller schedule overall this year.

Tiger still may lose this week, but he will play in 16 events on the PGA tour this year. He might only play in 15, but he is presently committed to playing in 16. I think that he will win 10 of those events. He won in Dubai already this year so that would be 11.

He will certainly win his own tournament, the Tiger Challenge. Actually a fairly weak field in the Tiger Challenge each year. That would be 12 and I will spot him one more World victory for the baker's dozen.

Talking about the Tiger challenge reminds me when Tiger was around 22 years old or so. Greg Norman used to have his own invitational tournament. Well Tiger got a little cocky and told a television announce during an interview that he would "go ahead and play" in Norman's tournament.

Well of course he never received an invitation. Upon hearing Tiger's statement, Norman comment was that Tiger was not invited to compete and would not be competing. Thus Tiger and Norman are not the greatest of pals.

Well Tiger didnt win this week, but I gave him 6 losses on the PGA Tour this season anyway.

By the way, I DO NOT like the odds on Tiger winning the slam this season. Normally his odds against doing that are 20 to 1. Now bettors have moved the line down to 4 to 1. Not much value in that number.

4 under
Bang. Nice right to left roll from Tiger for birdie to get to four under. He's owned the par 5s over these first 26 holes, making birdie at every single one.

lucky to win more than 1 this year.
